Process Development and Manufacturing Engineer at Nima

We are looking for a manufacturing engineer who will contribute to process development and manufacturing of a portable gluten and allergen testing device, in a fast-moving R&D and production environment.

Work with R&D team to develop the process for lateral flow strip production.
Manufacture small scale lateral flow strips for R&D purpose.
Manufacture pilot scale lateral flow strips for use in final products.
Ensure that products are delivered on schedule, with good quality.
Work with R&D team to implement a Quality Assurance plan for production.
Execute the Quality Assurance plan by performing QA and QC for production.
Work with R&D team and Operations team to implement and execute a supply management system.
Order raw materials in a timely manner, based on the supply management system.
Assist engineers and scientists with various product testing, and perform other related job functions.
Enter, process, evaluate, and present relevant data.
Prepare test protocols, execute tests, and write detailed reports and presentations.
Work with cross-functional team to integrate the technology into Nima device, and optimize the technology in order to achieve the best overall Nima-system performance.
Collaborate with other team members to lead and assist any requirement from the company.

Valid US work authorization
BS or MS in biochemistry, bioengineering, chemistry, chemical engineering or equivalent discipline
At least 1 year of process development & manufacturing experience
Comfortable with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required
Being able to follow instructions closely with attention to details is required
Excellent organizational, record keeping and communication skills
A strong work ethic to generate high quality data under tight deadlines in a fast-pace environment
Independent worker, while being able to collaborate with others
A quick learner, creative, enthusiastic, and proactive work attitude
Willingness to overachieve
