About RavenOps

RavenOps empowers robotics companies to focus on building great robots and services. We are the data infrastructure for the world’s autonomous systems—self-driving vehicles, drones, and perceptive robots.

You can't fix a bug in an autonomous system if you don't know what your robot sensed, what actions it took, and why. Even rare glitches and edge cases can quickly erode faith in a robot's reliability.

That's why RavenOps is starting with toolchains that provide deep observability into autonomy software, storing and surfacing the most meaningful data, and allowing engineering teams to understand what that data says about their system and how to improve performance—whether they're dealing with a single drone or thousands of self-driving cars.

We pay real salaries, offer substantial early-stage equity, and are hiring for roles that will have true impact.

We're backed by top VCs, including Accel Partners.

The Opportunity

You will be reinventing the way roboticists and autonomy engineers interact with their systems, just as that market is set to grow exponentially. The datasets our system handles go beyond standard web development, which will give you the opportunity to find creative solutions to novel challenges.

You will be joining early enough to see our products built from the ground up. As the company expands, you'll be the expert in how our front end and back end work, what design decisions were made, and the reasoning behind them. Working collaboratively in a small, fast-growing startup is a great opportunity to nurture your skills and gain a breadth of experience.

Requirements

    • You have a strong foundational understanding of JavaScript/ES6 and modern JS frameworks like React and Angular.

    • You're at home developing front end/back end connectivity in Python 2 or 3 and have an interest in learning Go. You can write SQL queries of moderate complexity.

    • You're well versed in agile software development best practices, version control, continuous deployment, and the like.

    • You have 2 or more years of technical work experience, and a B.S. or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field. Recent code academy graduates considered.

Not sure if this is you?

We are very interested in having a diverse team, with a broad set of skills, experiences, and viewpoints. If this seems like your dream job, but you're not sure if you qualify, please apply!
