Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager at Simbe

As a Sourcing & Supply Chain Manager at Simbe Robotics you will be part of the talented team working on our autonomous robot Tally.
This role will be responsible for ensuring the availability of components and sub-assemblies for the successful build of our fleet of autonomous robots. This role involves working in collaboration with the hardware and engineering team from specifications to manufacturing and delivery of robots.


    • Own RFI's, RFP's and RFQ's - ensuring all commercial terms are agreed and documented.
    • Ensure NDA, SOW's and Master Purchase Agreement are in place before the business is engaged.
    • Drive continual cost reduction and avoidance initiatives through ad hoc price negotiations.
    • Drive supply base consolidation where possible.
    • Analyze current spend and evaluate suppliers. Consolidate spend across supply base to use purchasing trends and develop sourcing alternatives.
    • Identify new high potential suppliers on global basis.
    • Lead respective supplier relationships and performance, including but not limited to dispute resolution.
    • Monitor current category market conditions, technology roadmaps and identify supply/demand challenges and opportunities.
    • Lead the vendor selection process with engineering teams.


    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering or equivalent experience.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work in a dynamic environment.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Windows and Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
